I consider myself fortunate to be a third generation Floridian, and many of my pieces are inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds me. In my 20’s and while my children were young, I focused on portraiture and still life in pencil and oil. Since 1998, I have been able to create art full time. While I still work in pencil, oil, and acrylic, I particularly enjoy the vivid hues of pastels. Over the years, I have received awards from Brevard Community College, the Dunedin Fine Arts Center, and the Pastel Society of Tampa Bay. In 2022, I was honored to be recognized as a signature member of the Pastel Society of Tampa Bay. In addition to creating art, I have taught art classes in the Florida community college system and now teach at my local gallery. I accept commissions and also sell paintings through the Tarpon Art Guild in Tarpon Springs, Florida. I hope you enjoy my work. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
